Many may have felt lost when in PhotoshopCS4 were looking for the Filter>Extract. In fact, from version CS4, it does not appears anymore by default. It has to be downloaded from Adobe website.
To simplify this, Adobe created a useful resource platform called Extension exchange. So anybody can download directly from the website, or alternatively use the new application Extension Manager to get extensions for any Adobe software.

Did you know, in Photoshop CS4 there is no more Auto Levels! Actually is still there... it just changed name. Now is Auto Tone.

Some people refers to Layer Styles as Blending Options. That's because the first Tab of the Layer Styles is called Blending Option, and comes out by default.

Do you want to see what could be printed and what not in your artwork? Go to View > Gamut Warnings. Whatever turns grey, is not-printable.
